Dr. Rustam DeVitre is a Prosthodontist who has expertise in treating patients with temporo-mandibular joint disease as well as treating patients with difficult restorative needs. His background is centered around esthetics and oral rehabilitation. Dr. DeVitre has conducted research in cementation, dental ceramics, computer aided design in dentistry. His work has been published in the Journal of Prosthodontic Dentistry. Dr. DeVitre graduated from Government Dental College, Bombay, India, 1973 and he completed Orthodontics MDS1 in 1974. He attended the Postgraduate Program in Prosthodontics at Tufts School of Dental Medicine from 1974-1976 and received his Certificate of Prosthodontics in 1976. He then joined the undergraduate class and obtained his DMD degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1977. Dr. DeVitre taught in the department of Restorative Dentistry as an Assistant Professor from 1976-1984 where he also worked in the faculty practice at Tufts from 1977-1884. He then opened his restorative practice in Boston where he continues to work. He is a member of the Academy of Dental Science, American College of Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Past President of the Northeast Craniomandibular Society and is well known and highly respected in Boston's Dental community.
